The IMOCA 60 of Di Benedetto is now in the water

After the pit stop on the ground, the Imoca 60 feet of Alessandro Di Benedetto, is back in the water for the final phase of preparation in time for the start of the Vendee Globe on 10 November 2012.
The stop led to a series of technical interventions, including an amendment to the keel and the preparation of a very fast hull.
Were also installed two reinforcements lead of 30 kg each to provide optimum stability to the boat.
During the next week, a team of three technicians Armare, under the direction of Gabriele Bacigalupo and the skipper Alessandro Di Benedetto, will be at Le Sables D’Olonne for a review of all the PBO standing rigging, the running rigging ropes and the definition of some technical details in view of the start of the Vendee Globe.
