to Emirates Team New Zealand
Armare Ropes has once again been chosen as Official Supplier
by Emirates Team New Zealand for the upcoming 37th America’s Cup campaign.
The partnership between Armare Ropes with the New Zealand Team
reaches its third consecutive edition, after the previous
two successful campaigns in 2017 and 2021.
Sustainable growth
Armare Ropes pursues a company policy of respect towards the territory
in which it was founded and continues to work, protecting the environment,
as well as the health and well-being of the people who work
in the company.
For the construction of the ropes we use only technical fibers produced responsibly, respecting
human rights and the environment. All internal operational processes and the choice of production
materials are carried out in strict accordance with the latest concepts of environmental
sustainability and environmental friendliness, such that the recycling average of the Armare
production chain is more than 96%.
Armare Ropes always supports several raising-awareness projects against sea pollution
and in support of sustainability of the oceans.
Dyneema® Bio - Based
Armare Ropes is gradually replacing the fibers used for the construction of the
ropes introducing the new Bio - BASED Dyneema® fiber. This is a small but
significant contribution to the eco-sustainability of the entire Armare Ropes
production chain.
The introduction of the new bio-based Dyneema® allows the gradual transition from the use of a conventional energy source (fossil fuel) to a renewable one, while maintaining the same exceptional performance of the product. Compared to standard fiber manufacturing, the production of each ton of bio-based Dyneema® saves 5 tons of CO2 emissions into the environment.
